As you can see, tonight I was rocking the SoundCloud shirt that the good folks at my favourite music streaming startup gave me when I visited Berlin last year.
Given that it was through SoundCloud that I first heard (and got excited!) about Mark Rae’s gig at The Manor, I guess this was my little way of saying “thanks”… So you can imagine how pleased I was when someone I’ve never met came up towards the end of the gig, asked where I got the shirt, and told me how much she loved SoundCloud :)
When huge, global digital communities spontaneously go personal, local and analog, you know you have built something special. Thanks SoundCloud!
PS: And for the record, the gig was awesome!
